The necessary steps in cylinder head reconditioning are the following:

Cylinder head washing for correct visual assessment (first wash!)
– preferably done by the customer at any car wash
Disassembly
Determining the need for parts or other operations in order to obtain the estimate
Mechanical cleaning of valves and intake and exhaust galleries to remove calamine deposits
Extraction of screws, spark plugs and injectors
Aluminum welds in the case of cracked cylinder heads
Reaming the seats for the valve seats
Replacement of valve seats
Replacement of antechambers
Rectification of valves
Valve guide replacement
Reaming of valve seats
Vacuum test for valve tightness
